Sauna ritual

The difference of the sauna séance from the traditional sauna is that the sauna master also stays in the cabin with the guests. The sauna master gradually warms up the sauna, sprays water with various essential oils, and provides for ventilation and for the atmosphere. The sessions last for 12 to 15 minutes, and the guests must naturally sit through the whole period. Have some rest after the sauna séance, have a cold shower, and dive into the cold pool. Do not immediately dive into the cold water!

Types of sauna session liquids: herbal scents, fruit scents, alcoholic

Use the sauna only without bathing suits, wrapped in sheets, sauna skirts, sauna clothes during the sauna séances, however the intimate parts must be covered in the whole area of the sauna world, and the common spaces may not be used without bathing suits!

Sauna

The use of a Finnish sauna helps you remove toxins, stimulate the blood circulation, strengthen the immune system, and improve brain functioning. Similarly to the steam cubicle, it stimulates the saturation of the skin, as a result of which your skin becomes tight, and helps you relax the muscle. The temperature varies between 85 and 95°C in Finnish saunas, which is lower on the lower benches, and higher on the upper ones.

Proper Use of the Finnish Sauna
Preparations

Take off your jewels in all cases to avoid burns. Take a shower before entering the cabin to remove cosmetics, contaminations and sweat from the skin. Leave your slippers and bathing suit outside the sauna according to the sauna etiquette.

Enter the sauna with a dry body and textile in all cases, and spread a towel under your body. Do not stay naked, do not use strong perfumes, and you should not eat or drink in the sauna. Children under 14 may use the sauna only under parental supervision.

Use of Sauna

It is worth staying in the sauna for 10 to 15 minutes, but if you find the air suffocating, you should leave it earlier! Have some rest after the use of the sauna, have a cold shower, and dive into the cold pool. Do not immediately dive into the cold water!

You may enter the sauna 3 to 5 times with short breaks.

Having a Rest

If you feel tired after the use of the sauna, it is worth having a rest for 1 or 2 hours, and you may even sleep.

Steam Cubicle

Steam has a beneficial effect on the skin, as it widens the pores, and hydrates the skin. In addition, it may help in the treatment of cellulite. The regular use of a steam cubicle helps in stress removal, and is a good choice even after workout, as it eliminates muscle sore.

In a steam cubicle, the temperature is between 43 and 46°C, i.e. much lower than in the Finnish sauna. The humidity is almost 100%, and therefore it is definitely recommended for patients with asthma. However, it is not indicated for patients with cardiovascular diseases due to the very high humidity. They should use the Finnish sauna instead.

Proper Use of the Steam Cubicle
Preparations

It is important not to eat or drink any alcohol 1 to 1.5 hours before the use of the steam cubicle. As your body will lose much water during the use, it is worth drinking more liquid, possibly non-carbonated water before the use.

Take off your jewels in all cases to avoid burns. Take a shower before entering the cabin to remove cosmetics, contaminations and sweat from the skin. It is worth coming to the steam cubicle with two towels according to the etiquette. One must be spread on the seat, and one under the feet.

Steam Bath

In general, 10 minutes are enough to induce sweating, however, if it is the first time you try the steam cubicle, it is worth starting with 5 minutes to allow your body to get used to the increased temperature and humidity.

After finishing the steam bath, have a rest for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature in order to cool your body. Naturally, you may return to the steam bath if you want.

Taking a Shower

Take shower in lukewarm water, and it is important to replace the lost liquid, possibly in the form of water.

Salt Room

The regular scheduled use of a salt room helps in the treatment of allergy, asthma, arthritic complaints and respiratory diseases. Its use does not have any harmful effect.

The energy transmitted by the salt crystals may eliminate sleep disorders, reduce stress, and improve concentration. You may stay up to 45 to 60 minutes in the salt room.

It must be noted that these beneficial effects can be really achieved if the salt room is regularly visited!
